Plains Minnow Park is a 12-acre park in the expanding neighborhood of Greens on Gardiner in the southeast area of Regina. The park is adjacent to the joint use facility hosting École Wascana Plains and École St. Elizabeth schools, and supplements the schools’ play equipment while also providing recreational and sport amenities to the neighbourhood, as well as providing pathway connections to the wider system. The park design included: a full-size soccer pitch, stormwater conveyance, tree and shrub planting, a sliding hill as well as a uniquely crafted playground structure that accommodates all ages. The latter was so popular that it was included in the supplier catalogue the following year
