The Mistawasis Reserve is located in central Saskatchewan, 120 km north of Saskatoon. Crosby Hanna has worked with the community on three occasions to prepare a comprehensive community plan and five-year capital plan for the community. Preparation of this plan involved analysis of the natural resource base and determination of development suitability on the Reserve, demographic analysis and preparation of population projections, drafting of planning goals, objectives and policies, preparation and evaluation of alternative future land use concepts, a community consultation program and determination of a preferred future land use plan for the community. A Concept Plan for camping areas, trails, cottage lots, RV sites and recreation facilities was prepared asa follow up task. Crosby Hanna has been working with the community on various design and construction projects continuously since the plan was developed.
