Many municipalities do not require a full-time municipal planner, but need advice on complex planning and development issues from time to time. CHA provides ongoing, as-needed professional planning support to more than 40 urban, rural and northern municipalities throughout Saskatchewan including: the R.M. of Aberdeen, the Town of Osler, the Town of Dalmeny, the R.M. of Wilton, the City of Lloydminster, the City of Swift Current and the Town of Battleford. Services provided include such things as bylaw and public notice preparation, servicing agreement preparation and negotiation, planning research and development standards (e.g. wind turbines, sea cans, signage, etc.), subdivision review, development permit processing, discretionary use permit processing, development levy bylaws, OCP updates, municipal board appeal hearings, community and land use mapping, municipal GIS, future growth studies and annexation applications.
