Crosby Hanna & Associates successfully competed for the commission to redevelop the west bank of the South Saskatchewan River in the vicinity of the weir. The process of analysis, planning, and design included consideration of a wide range of complex ecological, hydrological, geotechnical, municipal servicing, transportation, accessibility, and public use factors. Consultation with stakeholder and interest groups was integral to the process. Services included detailed design and construction administration for a four-phase construction process, transforming the site into a celebration of the unique area.
