In association with several local consulting engineers, Crosby Hanna & Associates has prepared dozens of First Nations Community Plans. Through the identification of existing land use and potential development areas within the Reserves, future physical development as well as five-year capital plans were prepared. These community plans provided the basis for pre-design and design work for future residential, economic development, community facility, and associated municipal infrastructure development on the Reserves. The plans also identify and protect sacred and traditional use areas of each First Nation Reserve.
First Nations community plans have been developed by Crosby Hanna & Associates for the following First Nations: Ahtahkakoop, Big River, Black Lake, Cote, Cumberland House, Fond Du Lac, Lac La Ronge (Grandmother’s Bay, Hall Lake, Sucker River, Stanley Mission, Kitsakie, Far Reserve, Little Red), Montreal Lake (Montreal Lake and Paskwawaskihk), Peter Ballentyne (Kinoosao), Hatchet Lake, Keeseekoose, Kinistin, Kistapinan, Kahkewistahaw, Little Pine, Mistawasis, One Arrow, Sturgeon Lake, Sweetgrass, Thunderchild, Wahpeton, Whitecap, Witchekan Lake and Yellow Quill.
